Overview
The integration applies to any Pipedrive paid account.
Pipedrive is a popular CRM for managing your prospects, customers and contacts. Exceed.ai knows how to automate the conversations with your leads, prospects and customers. Exceed.ai also collects information from contacts such as phone number, title, etc. which get updated as well in Pipedrive. With the Exceed.ai Pipedrive integration, your contacts stay in sync with your sales team’s Pipedrive database.
The integration between Exceed.ai and Pipedrive is a bridge between your automated conversation with your contact and your sales database, allowing activity and information to move seamlessly between the two. With the Exceed.ai Pipedrive integration, your sales team will consistently have the most up-to-date contact information and communication.
After you authenticate your Pipedrive account, Exceed.ai will pull any new contacts in Pipedrive, which meet predefined criteria. Then, we'll create a contact in the Exceed.ai database which we start working on based on your predefined sequences in Exceed.ai.
How to Enable Pipedrive Integration at Exceed.ai?
Prior to setting up the integration, we recommend creating a dedicated Pipedrive account, rather than using an employee's account. This is done to guarantee continuous access in cases of personnel changes and to ensure Exceed.ai API user has only the needed permission.
Log in to Exceed (Preferably via Incognito window)
Click on the Setting > Integrations
Click on ‘Add Pipedrive account’ button in the Pipedrive Integration section
Log in to Pipedrive and click "Allow" in order to give Exceed.ai permission to send and pull contact information
Wait for Pipedrive and Exceed.ai to authenticate
Your project should now be successfully integrated with Pipedrive!
Mapping between Exceed.ai and Pipedrive
Every customer sets up their Pipedrive in a different way. Therefore we provide our customers full flexibility to map Exceed.ai fields back to Pipedrive.
Contact Fields Mapping
Here is the basic list of fields Exceed.ai syncs with Pipedrive. You can find a corresponding field at Pipedrive for each field in the Exceed platform. Exceed.ai can add more mapping as needed to enrich contact data in Pipedrive:
Pull Contacts to Sequences using Pipeline and Stage
Once you've chosen this option for your integration, visit each sequence (under its Integrations tab) and choose a specific stage to pull contacts for this sequence.
Pull Contacts to Sequences using filters
You'll need to add specific filters on each sequence integration level, to navigate the contacts properly to the right one.
For the two options, you'll need to turn on the integrations toggles both on the Integrations page and on the sequence level to pull in contacts. Emails would start sending only once the sequence is activated.
