Zoho is one of the popular CRM for managing your prospects, customers and contacts. Exceed knows how to automate the conversations with your leads, prospects and customers. Exceed also collects information from contacts such as phone number, title, etc. which get updated as well in Zoho. With the Exceed Zoho integration, your contacts stay in sync with your sales team’s Zoho database.

The integration between Exceed and Zoho is a bridge between your automated conversation with your contact and your sales database, allowing activity and information to move seamlessly between the two. With the Exceed Zoho integration, your sales team will consistently have the most up-to-date contact information and communication.

After you authenticate your Zoho account, will pull any new contacts in Zoho, which meet predefined criteria. Then, we'll create a contact in Exceed database which we will start working on based on your predefined sequences in Exceed.

How to Enable Zoho Integration at Exceed?

Prior to setting up the integration, we recommend creating a dedicated Zoho account, rather than using an employee's account. This is done to guarantee continuous access in cases of personnel changes and to ensure Exceed API user has only the needed permission.

  1. Log in to Exceed (Preferably via Incognito window)

  2. Click on the Setting > Integrations

  3. Click on ‘Add Zoho account’ button in the Zoho Integration section

  4. Log in to Zoho and click "Allow" in order to give Exceed permission to send and pull contact information

  5. Wait for Zoho and Exceed to authenticate

  6. Your project should now be successfully integrated with Zoho!

Exceed provides out-of-the-box contact status and field mapping between Exceed and Zoho. As mentioned above, this mapping is quite flexible and we allow you to adjust status / field mapping based on your specific workflow process and data management in your Zoho.

Mapping between Exceed and Zoho

Every customer sets up their Zoho in a different way. Therefore we provide our customers full flexibility to map Exceed contact statuses to the corresponding statuses in Zoho. The same goes for field mapping as well.

Contact Fields Mapping

Here is the list of fields Exceed syncs with Zoho. You can find a corresponding field at Zoho for each field in the Exceed platform. Exceed can add more mapping as needed to enrich contact data in Zoho:

Pull Contacts to Sequences using filters

Exceed can automatically pull contacts from Zoho to Exceed.

You'll need to define criteria to pull leads and contacts under the integration of each sequence.
We recommend creating an Exceed Sequences field on the Contact or Lead entity in order to filter them properly.

For example, in case you want to pull leads that are "No Show", this is how you will set it up:

You'll need to turn on the integrations toggles both on the Integrations page and on the sequence level to pull in contacts. Emails would start sending only once the sequence is activated.
