Let's say you have your sequence running live and you decided to change the copy.
What will happen next? will my contacts receive the latest updated copy or the old one?

The answer is - depends. Exceed.ai is preparing emails ahead of sending them.
Once the email appears in the contact page, with a scheduled sending time, the email prepared will be the final version the contact will receive.


However, if there isn't yet a prepared template to be sent, the contact will receive the most updated copy.

Here is an example:
Your contacts had received today Follow-up template #2, and you have changed the copy of Follow-up #3, which is set up for 2 days afterwards. Since no template is yet prepared, your contacts will receive the new version.
